In 2024, a collaboration with Vanderburg University led to the design of an AI tool that predicts enzyme structures, bridging UX and scientific innovation. Science-tech products present unique challenges, and this project demonstrated how UX methodologies can be leveraged to solve complex problems in this space. The discussion will explore how design was adapted for scientific workflows, the unexpected hurdles encountered, and the role UX played in advancing computational chemistry—highlighting the impact of great UX on scientific breakthroughs.
